Statement of Faith

We believe:

In the true and living God, the creator and sustainer of all things, infinite and absolutely perfect in holiness and love. He exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit who are of one substance and equal in power and glory. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28: 19; Jn. 4:24; Jn. 1:1-4; Phi. 2:6; 2Cor. 13:14).

That the Bible, the sixty-six canonical books of the Old and the New Testament are inspired word of God. It is thus, infallible, in errant without error and entirely trustworthy. It is the complete revelation of divine will for the Salvation of mankind and the only unfailing authority of faith and practice for the Christian life. (2Tim.3: 16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Matt.5: 18; Jn. 16: 12-13.)

That Jesus Christ, the eternally pre-existent Son becomes incarnate without human father, His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth. He lived a sinless life in total obedience to the will of the Father. His death on the cross as the sinners substitute, ransom and sacrifice, shedding His blood for the remission of sin once for all, and His bodily resurrection on the third day, His ascension to heaven, where at the right hand of the majesty on high. He is our high priest and advocate, His personal, imminent return. (1 Cor.15: 3-9;          Jn. 11: 1; Matt.20: 23; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb 1: 3; 10:12; 2 Tim.2: 8).

In the personality and divinity of the Holy Spirit and the present ministry of Him to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict individuals and bring them to repent from their sins, and to experience the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and thus, enabling and empowering the godly life and service of the believers. (Eph. 1: 12;             1 Cor.12: 13; 2 Cor.1: 22).

Human beings, male and female were created in the image of God that by disobedience fell from a sinless state therefore become fallen sinners, which is separation from God as a consequence sentence of eternal death. All are born in sin thus, become sinners by nature. The human race can be saved from the state of sin and unrighteousness only by the grace of God through faith in the finished redemption work of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the agency of the Holy Spirit therefore obtain the right relationship with God. (Gen.1: 27-27; Rom. 5: 12; 3: 23; 1 Jn. 1: 8; Eph. 2: 3).

That the Church is the company of all who have become children of God through faith in Christ and have been knit together by the Holy Spirit into one body of which He is the Head. The Church is given the mandate by the risen Lord Jesus Christ and is under obligation to demonstrate and proclaim the wholeness of the gospel and its implication to the whole creation. (Matt.16: 8; 1 Cor.12: 3; Eph. 4: 4).

That a truly born again child of God must join a biblical local Church. That water baptism and Lord Supper are ordinance to be observed by the Church during the church age. (Acts. 2: 41-42).

In the bodily resurrection of the dead to the everlasting blessedness of those who are in right relationship with God and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in Jesus Christ.

That we are to be good stewards of the financial and Spiritual resources and the material blessings which God provides towards strengthening the body of Christ to get the job done before the coming of Jesus Christ.
