                                                     From Principal's Desk

       The past eight years of God’s leadership at the Indian Institute of Theological Studies (IITS) have been a joy to observe. Here, we emphasize the significance of theological education in order to carry out the Great Commission. IITS is an evangelical, interdenominational school for theological study that is accessible from Pillangkatta, Meghalaya, via Guwahati, Assam. Higher education is offered by the institution for those wishing to pursue careers in Christian ministry. IITS fosters a culture of education, leadership development, service, and training for the growth of God’s kingdom.

     IITS wants to prepare its students for ministry by giving them theological training that is biblically sound, spiritually mature, and committed. The school aims to develop students’ academic and spiritual excellence so they can tackle today’s difficulties. It also teaches students vital leadership qualities and instills in them a deep concern for the souls who have lost their way.

        Inculcating Christlikeness into students’ lives, encouraging them to serve others, and upholding the inerrancy and supreme authority of the Bible are among IITS’ key beliefs. It exists to prepare both men and women for the mission that Christ has given them: “ To serve and not to be served ” (Matthew 20:28). In order to demonstrate servant-hood leadership and to be a powerful witness with words and acts, it emphasizes the importance of maintaining a proper and healthy connection with God and His people (the world).

      We are eternally grateful to God for the dedication of our director, faculty, staff, volunteers, prayer partners, supporters, and all other well-wishers to serving Him. God has provided us with amazing people to work as a team to fulfill His Great Commission. Without them, we would not be able to fulfill the mission He has given us to do in terms of developing His people and blessing His institutions. It was a modest start, and it’s incredible to see how God has been so kind in directing IITS.
